The Brief
Redesign of original website that was in old ASP.Net framework and needed to be updated for speed as well as user functionality. Maintain and improve on Google organic ranks to drive sales revenue through the site.
Solution
- Work done included:
- New website was built in Magento with custom framework PHP.
- Responsive for mobile and tablet users.
- Created a modern and sleek design, which clearly illustrates the products the client deals in (labels).
- Created custom pricing matrix to set individual price and bulk price for products based on quantity ordered as well as the type of label product and material selected by the customer.
- Website was rebuilt to allow for ecommerce and online purchase as well as product enquiry, where products are not available to buy directly online.
- Fully managed admin console for client to control product details, categories and pricing, as well as retrieve customer details and order data.
- Disavow.
- Utilised over 300 keywords, doing extensive keyword research into all the different types of labels the client sells.
- Created content and meta for all pages.
- Made sure all images optimised for products sold.
- Internal linking to target best terms.
- Regular research into the best directories, curated and guest post opportunities for sustained link building each month.
Result
Website now appears page 1 for over 50 keyword variations for top terms such as ‘coloured labels’ and many more.
